Hi All,
Title really says it all. I am a Sophomore at a Target Ivy League school with a 3.81 GPA, studying Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Economics. Despite the high GPA, involvement in EC's, and some demonstrated interest in finance (economics courses, personal brokerage account, online finance courses), I have been having a hard time with the internship process. I'm starting to get worried that my engineering background is preventing me from getting that crucial first internship in finance. What can I do to try and get something my summer after sophomore year? Should I be worried? (I've started to apply to the major BB's with sophomore programs, but don't have much confidence that anything will come of it)
