Hey guys,
Just accepted a MM IB offer for the analyst program. Really excited, but a bit worried about my office location and where that will get me. Don't want to get specific, but I'll be in a midsize Southern city working at one of only a handful of banks in town.
I want to be in New York ASAP, and just wanted to seek everyone's advice. Would it be best to 1. lateral, 2. lateral to the firm's New York office or 3. wait it out and try to get an associate promote to NYC in 2 years. Thanks guys!
