Hi! I'm at MSc level and have one more semester left to go as part of an exchange program at HSE, Moscow.
I have no real company work experience, so I am building my resume on academic consulting.- like projects (i.e sales project for x company, financial statement analysis for y plus a social event). Apart from that, I keep first a President role at my home uni's model UN club. Finally, I have 6 years waiter experience on one line.
In the activities/other section I have a Bloomberg Market Concepts Certificate, Bloomberg Aptitude test (88th pctl), a diplomacy award and some other clubs I have been part of.
Recently participated at a workshop with EY on valuation methods, where we worked with DCF and then showed how this approach gave us a good estimate compared to a deal that actually took place (ab inbev & Miller).
-Should I add this workshop as a major experience nd spin it into sth more relevant, top of my "leadership/work experience" or keep it down to a line in the "activities"?
-Waiter job: struggling on how to word it in the most effective way. sure, talked with ppl, worked under crazy stress, delegated and coordinated under real pressure, but all this sounds too common, no?
If you necessary I could upload a resume draft. Anyone that can help me?
