Hope to get some input on how laterals work for banks in HK/SH/BJ/SG. As far as I know, the recruiting efforts are completely done by HR (not 100% sure). So I spent quite amount of time reaching out to recruiters, but NEVER get a response whatsoever.
Background: I am from a non-target school, currently a first year analyst at a boutique bank.
What would be the best strategy here if my goal is to break in to the regions above without starting as a first year or getting a master degree at a target school?
