Am I screwed for FT Banking recruiting?

Junior intern this summer at GS/MSDCM and capital markets is definitely not for me. I'm not a fan of how the floor is set up and find it to be too loud- in addition, I also find the actual work itself to be extremely uninteresting. I understand that every intern is just going to be setting up calls / formatting stuff / making market updates, but I'm alarmed by the fact that this is all that the FT analysts are doing as well. Does not look like there is much of a learning opportunity at all.

100% set on M&A/Industry group for FT and I'm not going to be picky about which bank.Things I've been doing to achieve this so far have been studying my ass off with Rosenbaum book various technical guides and reaching out to alumni at other BBs and EBs. I'm not sure how competitive of a candidate I'd be for FT at BBs/EBs coming from capital markets so I want to get into processes at MMs as well. Any advice on what else I can do along with a perspective on what I should be expecting in terms of success with landing a FT M&A/Industry group offer will be appreciated.

Background:
Ivy Liberal Arts major with ~3.7 GPA
Decent leadership experience with an investment club
Sophomore BB experience in Asset Management

Thanks
