What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?:
The majority of the questions were behavioral. These included standard ones like examples of working in a team environment. Each interviewer also asked about deals I had been following or I was interested in. There were a couple of relatively easy mental math calculations however the interviewer will make you explain your answer out loud and may challenge you on it to see if you will budge or if you are confident. Overall, there was nothing particularly unexpected. I think the most important part would be to have a good story and show an excitement and interest in the markets today.

How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?:
In my answers I focused on a couple of deals. The important thing is to make sure you understand why the deal and what value the company will get from it. The interviewer would ask follow ups as to what my opinion was and how do I think it will play out. Also make sure that if you choose a deal the firm worked on you know it even better as the interviewer will likely have even more information. In addition, make sure your story is logical and leads you to investment banking in a clear progression from major to internship to banking.
