What is a company you like? What is the capital structure of that company? Can you calculate WACC on the spot for that company? What would you estimate the company's cost of debt and cost of equity are and why? Why is the cost of equity greater than the cost of debt? Can you walk me through the main financial statements? Can you tell me something that is not on your resume? Can you walk me through a DCF and tell me what you think is the most important lever in the DCF and why? Why this company and not a larger firm?

I interviewed on campus then was invited to a superday a few days later. At the superday, I interviewed with about 8 members of the team.

How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?:
I said that Apple was a company that I admired but wasn't too sure about estimating the cost of debt or the cost of equity. I said that the WACC was around 10% and that a large part of the cost of capital likely came from equity because it was a publically traded company. I answered the DCF question like you would in the guides and wanted to work at this company for the greater responsibility and leaner deal teams along with a strong culture and good work environment. I liked the people that I had networked with.
