What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?:
I was asked how many ping pong balls fit in a 737 Boeing aircraft, make all the assumptions you want. I was asked the basic valuation methods and then the main drivers of each of those valuations. I worked at a PE firm last summer so they dug on technical LBO questions as in what is the discount rate in an LBO, basic paper LBO type questions, how do you calculate WACC/CAPM in a DCF. Other that that everything was very behavior and I needed to speak well to every experience on my resume. Overall, great interview experience with cool guys.

How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?:
I really hadn't prepared for the sizing question of how many ping pong balls can you fit in an airplane so I just started high level and walked him down to a number that was around 12 million based on cubic feet and estimated size of the cabin. I feel that I answered each of the valuation type questions well but had forgotten that IRR was the discount rate used in an LBO for some reason by they led me in the right direction and I was able to get it Other than that, it was a very fit interview and they asked about my hobbies, interests, and projects I worked on at my internships.
