What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?: 
Nothing too surprising. Interviewer asked me typical fit questions. Why interested in marathon/ why IB/ experience to get you ready for IB/ tell me about your favorite class. Then followed up with some basic technicals including walk me through DCF, how to calculate WACC, which financial statement would you choose and what deals have you been following. Interviewer was very nice and followed up with a modeling test about a widget factory. My model was not up to par and I did not move on in the process.

-interested in marathon bc good deal flow, leader In their space, interested in renewable energy -interested in IB because of transactions and opportunity to gain foundation in finance -did PE internship before to prepare for IB world -macroeconomics, find markers interesting Techs -ran through dcf and WACC calculation process -cash flow statement as cash is king -talked about ibm and redmonk deal Answered modeling test by making many assumptions and building out 5 yr projections in excel
