I was asked whether I had considered REstructuring instead of advisory/M&A given my previous background in debt. Another big question was focused on why I was applying full tiem for a job across the country in California. Additional focus questions had to do with why I was moving towards doing M&A instead of debt focused deals. My answer to why not restructuring had to do with why I wanted to move to M&A and my entire story to start with. My answer to why moving across country was focused on the particular sector group i was interviewing for and my interest in doing deals and getting exposure in that field.
