What were the most difficult or unexpected interview questions asked?:
For the most past it was straightforward stuff from the guides. Regular accounting, valuation, and DCF questions. A lot of the behavioral had follow-ups which caught me off guard. Some of the more out of the box questions were: What is your dream job other than banking and if they paid the same amount would you take that instead? What is one thing you liked about your upbringing and one thing you did not? What would you do if you had to lead a client call having never listened in on one before?

Please describe the interview / hiring process.:
Networked by cold calling and was able to get a first-round phone screen with someone I had already talked too. From there had another phone screen with an analyst and a VP than an in-person super day.

How did you answer each of these questions (please be specific)?:
1. I said yes - but that is unrealistic. Related it back to my why banking pitch. 2. I said that I enjoyed the freedom that I had as a kid to develop my own opinions. One thing that I did not like was that it went by too fast and nobody really made that clear enough until it was too late. 3. I would start by letting the client lead the call. Have them ask you for things and then try to pick up on how you think it should go an act from there. I made sure to acknowledge that it is important to do your research beforehand.
