Sophomore BB MO SA => IBD SA Next Summer?

Currently a sophomore at top BB interning in a MO role. I have been reaching out to people in IBD for a possible internship next summer. Does anyone know how to go about doing this/ done this before? Is there anyway to formally go through HR and interview for an SA at the end of the summer
