IB is a super conservative field and I’m wondering if one were to try to move up the ladder, at what point is your personal life also liable for scrutiny. For example, could you be a successful banker and still be a public figure like a YouTuber or instagram influencer or a music artist? (Ignoring the whole time management realistic stuff)
Let’s say you’re a famous gamer on YouTube for example. You aren’t extremely lewd but you curse sometimes during a gameplay and/or play games like COD/GTA. Can this cost you your job? I guess for women equivalent, what if you were some fitness influencer on Instagram where you’re not onlyfans level naked but wear athletic gear that clearly shows stomach/arms/legs etc.
It’s specific but I’m just wondering if I’m going to have to be a super private person if I want to get anywhere long term in banking/finance.
