Staying in contact in the year leading up to internship

Was fortunate enough to network well with a team at a bank I was interested in and receive a SA for 2021 in the middle of the summer. Now that I have my offer sheet signed, and ready to come in next summer, how often should I be staying in contact with the people on the team? Definitely don't want to be over-eager and annoy the shit out of them, but definitely feel like it would be weird as hell for there to be a year long gap in communication until the internship actually starts. Curious how anyone navigated this in the past.
