So, long story short, I go to a non-target for IB. However, my school has a very well respected masters in accounting program, which I am enrolled in. I have landed an internship in the assurance (audit) department at a Big 4.
My question is, after doing my internship at the B4, how could I leverage that into a IB gig? After my internship, I will be going into my 5th year, so I most likely couldn't do an internship at an IB. Is it possible to get an IB full time offer without doing an IB internship?
If this is doable, how should I go about doing it? I have very few alumni in the industry, so networking might not cut it..
Any advice would be appreciated.
