Hey everyone. I currently work in the Global Treasury area of one of the larger banks and want to start reaching out to HR to try to get into IB analyst program for next summer. I was an Accounting major at a target school and decided pretty late senior year that I wanted to be in banking. I figured that getting my foot in the door at a bank would make it easier to move around. My question is, I do not have any formal analyst training, and want to know how I should word that my drive for getting into this area is worth taking on my inexperience. I have recently bought modeling guides and read the WSJ everyday, and just would appreciate any suggestions on what to focus on in my cover letter and emails that I am going to start sending out to HR people and boutiques. Thanks
