I was just wondering how hard it actually is to get a job at medium to high performing hedge fund coming from investment banking. Is it harder to get into than PE? Is it some rare thing to go from investment banking to hedge funds? If I apply to multiple hedge funds would it be hard to even get a job at one of them. I went to a state school and have a bachelors degree double majoring in Banking&Finance and Accounting and will have completed my MBA from the same university. I could not find a true answer in any other threads. I could really use some useful input to my question.
