Based on my limited experience on WSO posts, it seems that people either hate investment banking or really eager to break in. There is always the argument that investment banking skill set transfer etc. My personal experience is that the skill set is not really transferable... Excel and ppt and how to do a DCF... excel and ppt are useful but you can just learn it through online class. many other firms don't give a crap if I have banking in my resume or not (i.e AM, trading shop, VC that likes consulting more) curious about your opinion, does it worth it?
